Day trip to JB!

Met up 10am to travel across the borders. 

Carene is super suay max. 

Go out without passport and chop passport the custom officer's computer hang, HAHAHA

We climbed bus railings, had sushi buffet, shopped around, had baskin robins/shihlin xxl chicken/pretzels/churros/ bought donuts back. Yup, you get it. It's all about FOOD!

 Real cheap! Like 10 bucks per person but it wasn't nice at all! 

We had baskin robbins! There are some promo going on. Show them something you have in pink and you get discounts. We were searching frantically. Black shirt, brown belt, blue short, black flip flops. Nothing in pink!

 In a desperate attempt, we showed her my nails which is actually fuchsia but she said okay can! Yay!  

 The thing I bought. Didn't went on an omfg-jb-so-cheap-must-shop-till-I-drop spree. 

But I should have! 

Best buy would definitely be the rings. 

They were 3 for 10. Carene chose an owl one while I picked a TV ring which was playing doraemon cartoon and a cupcake ring.

 Spent it with Crazy Gang this year! 

We went over Lau Pa Sat to get local food before heading near the floating platform. 

 Look at us! We are so patriotic, we pasted temporary tattoos on our faces!

 There was practically nothing much we could do since we are not on the floating platform. 

There are some flying planes and all occasionally though 

 This is one of them. With the national anthem no less.

Knowing I can take the pictures from facebook, I watched the entire show. 

 And I got excited! RAINBOW FIREWORKS! Afterwards, there were heart and star shaped fireworks!

Several days ago, it was mid of hungry ghost festival. 

After the offerings were made, the rest started eating the fruits except for me. 

"Why you not eating the fruits?" 

"You should offer durians next year"

I wasn't expecting something awesome at all considering how most of SG food disappoints. 

But this. THIS. Dinner set 3 if I'm not wrong. 

Scallops, straw mushroom wrapped in beef, sashimi, appetizers and chawamushi with tons of ingredients in it(mushroom, chicken, prawn) 

Mumsie ordered the hot pot, some tempura and sushi.

 While Sm was laughing at the fact that I got a power rangers cake, Zy told us that's his favourite show when he was young! YAY!

She's grown so much!

No longer the tiny barely month old hamster. 

She's a round and happy hamster now. (:

Running the wheel until I came over to disturb her. She's so round now lor. 

But I gather those are not fats. She eats cherry tomatoes and broccoli daily, won't even drink water or eat hamster food. And she runs the wheel all.day.long. So noisy!
