Have you heard of the woman who slammed heart landers?
I saw on Stomp this article of a woman, Samantha who stays at Holland V and she is unhappy with the heart landers coming to Holland V
Here's the article

In it, she called a local radio station and publicly expressed her displeasure with heart landers
She said "We people(from Holland V) are cultured and heart landers are not cultured because they dress in shorts and slippers and weird coloured hair"
and "we're more high class than that"

I'd say cultured people are not define by THEMSELVES, because she has been categorizing herself as a culture person with absolutely no proof or whatsoever. And, cultured people do not call in to a radio station and slams fellow Singaporeans publicly. So tell me, which part of this sounds like a "cultured" person's doing? Being in Singapore, everyone has freedom of speech and to do whatever they want so I don't think what others wear and do should be judged by people who thinks they have the right to. I've known people who lives at Holland V and they went out in shorts and slippers too. Bet this Samantha would categorize them as "heart landers"

"please stay where u are because you fit there"
and a heart lander called in to defend heart landers
and this girl, Maddy from bedok put on a small fight
but this Samantha was totally rude and ignorant
she said "I've been to Bedok and I've been pushed and shoved around at the interchange"
and "the price of laksa from where I stay is very different from Bedok, right?"

My say. As I've said, it is entirely up to people to go and do whatever they want and she has no right to judge at all! Also, she said she's been pushed and shoved around in Bedok interchange. And I'd say, if you are so "high class" to live at Holland V, "such an expensive estate", why can't you afford your own transport? Are you so hard on yourself to prove to people that you are "high class" to live in expensive estates that you've starved yourself silly to afford such apartments that you have no money to afford your own transport?! I'm not saying that people who takes public transport are not "high class" but just saying that high class people certainly do not go around telling people that they are high class and all no? And I stress that Holland V properties are not on the top list. Bukit Timah,  Sentosa Cove and Town are on the top list so why is this Samantha so arrogant about living at Holland V? I don't see people from Holland V putting others down like that. Prices of laksa varies because of different factors like location, rent and ingredients used so do yourself a favour by reading up instead of making a fool out of yourself

"Do you even earn enough to come and buy what we have, what we enjoy"
To which, Maddy replied "Then it is no different in Orchard then. People get shoved around in Orchard too"
Samantha retorted "Ya, but those people who shoved people around are heart landers don't you think?"
Seriously, how the fuck she know they are heart landers?!
This is what she has to say "firstly, no manners, talk loudly, those clothes that you buy off Bugis street, the cheap ones"
"the gangsters, ah lians and ah bengs are from heart lands"

My say. I bet those people who own stalls in Bugis are more well off than you. Your stereotyping of people is so ridiculous that it's almost funny. If one day (touch wood la) there are gang fights in Holland V, everyone should go hunt that Samantha down and say "eh, gang fight in Holland V leh, high class gang fight ah?!" HAHA in your face. Every part of Singapore is unique and should be whole so why put other areas down? You think by this radio conference it made you sound "high class" and "cultured"? It'd only made you sound like an ignorant fool and making a mockery out of yourself, yup, you've achieved that, congrats.
